Monument Recording Artist’s Single Promoted by
Arista Nashville Promotion Team; Top 5 Most Added

Singer/Songwriter and Monument recording artist Walker Hayes is top 5 most added at Country radio today with his reactive, new single “You Broke Up With Me.” The song is “already making waves with fans” (The Boot) with over 60,000 tracks downloaded and streaming figures surpassing 10 million. His fresh style differentiates him from others as he continues “writing super specific conversational autobiographical songs and delivering them in a way that feels intimate,” shares NPR World Café’s Jewly Hight. Hayes co-wrote the single with Thomas Archer and Kylie Sackley, and GRAMMY Award winning producer/songwriter, Shane McAnally, produced it.

“I can’t describe how pumped we are to be giving ‘You Broke Up With Me’ to Country radio. The early support we’ve received on this song is ridiculous,” says Hayes. “I’m so humbled by the early love we’ve gotten from so many stations and their fans. I can say this now: this whole journey has just been incredible.”

Hayes, named one of Rolling Stone’s 2017’s “County Artists to Watch”, CMT’s “New Artists You Need to Know and Pandora’s “Country Artists to Watch,” didn’t come by this success overnight or easily; his steadfast perseverance for the last decade has all led to this moment. Hayes reveals what fueled that drive in a personal video address:

The Arista Nashville promotion team is overseeing Hayes’ radio promotion in tandem with the Monument Records staff.

Hayes’ 8 Tracks Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, released in 2016 through SMACKSongs & Rarespark Media Group, is a collection of 16 self-written and recorded songs that garnered national attention and landed the singer/songwriter on Spotify’s US Viral 50. The response attracted opening spots on country duo Dan + Shay’s fall 2016 Obsessed Tour, Bobby Bones’ Funny and Alone Comedy Tour and this fall’s upcoming Thomas Rhett Home Team Tour. This past January, Hayes delivered “You Broke Up With Me” to all digital and streaming platforms in conjunction with a music video recorded in his Music Row recording studio,The Shack, available here on VEVO.
